Who am I?
Campbell Parish is originally from New Hampshire. She grew up in the forest and has a deep love of the outdoors. She decided to go to Boston and attend Emerson College, where she majored in journalism with minors in public relations and American Sign Language. She loves telling stories through writing, photos, or videos.
During her time at Emerson, Campbell's talent and dedication were recognized at The Berkeley Beacon, a student-run newspaper. She ascended to the role of Beacons Magazine editor in the fall of 2021, a testament to her leadership skills and commitment to her craft. Her love for photography also found an outlet in concert photography, a passion she continues to pursue. Currently, she lends her lens to The Luna Collective, Five Cent Sound, WERS 88.9 FM, capturing the essence of live music. Her diverse clientele includes renowned names such as Outdoor Voices, Hampton Casino Ballroom, Bijou Boston, Boston Museum of Science, The ERA Award, Emerson College, and Winnacunnet High School.
Campbell's professional journey has been marked by diverse experiences that have honed her skills and broadened her horizons. She embarked on a digital marketing internship at the Boston Museum of Science, where she gained valuable insights into website development and Drupal. Her passion for music led her to a public relations internship at Big Hassle Media. As a volunteer publicist for Families First, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, she created a media kit, showcasing her ability to tell compelling stories and build relationships.
She was also rewarded with both the Longform Journalism Excellence Award and the Feature Journalism Excellence Award for a documentary she made called Rowing On, which followed the oldest rower of the Head of the Charles Regatta.
She loves taking film photos of beautiful things, places, and people, running, or just eating soup (chicken corn chowder, duh) in her spare time.
